Eli Freedberg and operators from some of New York City’s top hospitality establishments present a highly engaging, practical roundtable discussion. This Hospitality Roundtable is an interactive forum designed for you and your industry colleagues to share how your businesses are handling certain legal challenges. Participants will explore challenges they have faced, sharing ideas and strategies that have proven successful. Topics to be addressed:

  • Is it the end of the Tip Credit
  • 2018 changes to the Wage Order
  • “Me-Too” in the hospitality industry
  • NYS Predictive Scheduling Regulations and NYC Fair Workweek Law
  • New trends/developments at EEOC or state agencies
  • Political discussion at work/on social media by or among employees
  • Termination of employees for extreme and racist off duty political activities or demonstrations (e.g. Charlottesville)
  • NY Paid Family Leave Law
