Tuesday, July 26, 2022

  • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM PDT

Three years have passed already since the European Union agreed upon Directive (EU) 2019/1152 of June 20, 2019, addressing transparent and predictable working conditions in the EU in the area of civil law (Working Conditions Directive).

The Working Conditions Directive stipulates that the rights and obligations set out therein must apply to all employment relationships by August 1, 2022, at the latest. This directive has implications for newly concluded contracts after August 1, 2022, and also applies to all "old contracts" concluded before that date. Employers who don't comply will face considerable sanctions.

In this webinar, we will address the following:

  • The EU Working Conditions Directive
  • Germany's implementation of the Working Conditions Directive
  • Recommended actions for employers with German operations
  • Implementation of the Working Conditions Directive in the Netherlands
  • Recommended actions for employers with Dutch operations
