
Adele Abrams brings over three decades of legal experience, with a significant focus on occupational safety and health, and employment law.
Prior to joining Littler, Adele led a multi-attorney OSHA and MSHA practice nationwide, practicing in employment law with a focus on occupational and mine health and safety. As a Certified Mine Safety Professional (CMSP) and an Associate Safety Professional (ASP), she provides legal representation, consultation, safety audits, and training services to companies regulated by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and OSHA. She is an MSHA-approved Part 48 trainer.
In addition to her legal practice, Adele serves as an instructor of employment law at the University of Colorado. She is a distinguished thought leader, regularly contributing columns to various magazines on legal, employment, mine safety and OSHA issues, and has co-authored several books on these topics for the American Society of Safety Professionals. She is a former delegate of the National Safety Council, and received the NSC Distinguished Service to Safety Award in 2017.
Before practicing law, Adele was a radio disc jockey on legendary rock station WHFS-FM (1974-1988) and is co-producer of the Emmy winning documentary “Feast Your Ears: the Story of WHFS.
