Lizzy Stewart focuses her practice on labor and employment law matters. She has experience in negotiations, arbitrations, and federal and state employment law claims. In addition, she performs pre-acquisition due diligence for corporate clients and private equity firms to identify employment obligations and liabilities that may impact the value and structure of a corporate transaction. She also supports clients with federal and state Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Acts, and reduction-in-force plans.
Prior to joining Littler, Lizzy gained valuable experience as a legal intern for two sports organizations. Her work included contributing to investigations, collective bargaining agreement strategy and drafting partnership agreements. She also has experience working on wage garnishment matters for independent contractors.
During law school, Lizzy served as a law clerk at Littler, working on elections, collective bargaining issues, discrimination lawsuits, and executive compensation reporting.
