New York City’s AI Hiring Bias Law Creates Hurdles for Companies

In light of a new rule requiring New York City employers to independently audit their systems for bias and publish the results, Eli Freedberg believes a lot of companies might be considering pausing their use of AI based tools until they can assess whether the tools they are using qualify as regulated tools.
