WASHINGTON (April 7, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Amanda S. McGinn as a shareholder in its Washington, D.C., office. McGinn joins from Akin Gump following the recent arrival of Daniel Nash, Stacey Eisenstein and Nathan Oleson, and brings experience representing clients in the sports industry in labor and employment matters.

“Since the start of the year, Littler has significantly bolstered its presence in the sports sector with the additions of Dan, Stacey and Nate, and now Amanda,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “We’re excited to build on this momentum and are confident that Amanda will play an important role in helping us continue to grow our work in the sports industry.”

McGinn represents clients in high-stakes labor and employment matters, within the sports industry and across various other sectors. She has defended sports associations and teams in labor and contract disputes, as well as litigation involving equal employment opportunity (EEO) claims and compliance with the Labor Management Relations Act. McGinn’s litigation experience also includes defending against allegations of discrimination, harassment and other forms of employee misconduct.

“Amanda is a skilled litigator and trusted client counselor, and I am thrilled that she is joining our team,” said Josh Waxman, Littler’s Washington, D.C., office managing shareholder. “Her depth of experience and background in handling complex labor and employment matters will add to our talented bench in D.C. and firmwide, while supporting our focus on strengthening key practice areas to align with the firm’s strategic plan and overall business objectives.”

In addition to managing high-profile employment litigation, McGinn handles complex arbitrations and assists clients in navigating internal and government investigations, particularly those involving discrimination claims.

“I’m excited to rejoin Dan, Stacey and Nate at Littler and have the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s growth and expanding presence in the sports sector,” said McGinn. “Littler’s deep resources, knowledge, and experience in all facets of labor and employment laws provides the perfect foundation to deliver the strategic legal solutions my clients need to succeed.”

McGinn received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A., cum laude, from Amherst College. Prior to joining Akin Gump, she completed a one-year clerkship for the Honorable John A. Woodcock Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
