DENVER (July 29, 2016) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has named Alan McLaughlin to office managing shareholder (OMS) of the firm’s Denver office. He also will oversee the firm’s Indianapolis office, where he has served as OMS since 2012. McLaughlin succeeds Erin Webber, who will continue to focus on her full-time practice and firm leadership responsibilities, including her position on Littler’s Board of Directors and as chair of the Shareholder Compensation Committee.
“We extend our deepest appreciation and thanks to Erin for her myriad contributions to the Denver office. She is a selfless leader and has been instrumental in the growth of the office,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler, in a joint statement. “We are confident that Al will build upon Erin’s many accomplishments. He has a proven track record leading the efforts of our Indianapolis office, and we look forward to his continued success in Denver.”
McLaughlin is an exceptional attorney and recently received a top ranking in the 2016 edition of the respected Chambers and Partners: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business guide. In addition to his Chambers recognition, McLaughlin has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America© since 2012 and selected to the Super Lawyers in Employment Litigation-Indiana list for 11 consecutive years. Additionally, he has been awarded the AV Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a Patrick Wilson Scholar by Vanderbilt University School of Law.
“I am excited to assume the leadership role of our Denver office,” said McLaughlin. “Erin has done an excellent job building Littler’s presence throughout the region, and I look forward to furthering her efforts while pursuing new opportunities.”
